STUDENT PROCESS: Activities for Archaeologist

TasK #1: Design “Two Cool Cartoons”.

Before your team leaves for the archaeological site, “The Cave”, you will need to provide some preliminary information to your team members about the Paleolithic Period, the time that coexisted with the Ice Age.
As the assistant archaeologist your first task is to instruct the other assistants in your group to brainstorm stereotypes they have or have seen about prehistoric people. Draw a cartoon strip that portrays your team’s ideas - complete with word bubbles.

Later, you will draw a different “Cool Cartoon” based on what your team has learned about the people who lived during this time in history. It will be very interesting to seek how your teams’ two cartoons compare.
