STUDENT PROCESS: Activities for thec Assistant to the Archaeologist

Congratulations! You have been assigned to work with Dr. Annabella Archie, a world renowned archaeologist.

As Dr. Archie’s assistant you will learn about the culture of the people who lived during the Ice Age. In “The Cave” there will be many artifacts such as weapons, tools and even musical instruments that will help you understand the creative and innovative ways these people adapted to the climate and temperatures of their time.

Your responsibility will be to complete the following activities:

Activty #1: Design “Two Cool Cartoons”.

Activity #2: Research and present a slide show of the people who lived during the Ice Age.

Activity #3: Complete “Field Notes” and a “Field Report” based on the discoveries in “The Cave”.
