STUDENT PROCESS: Activities for Archaeologist

Activity #2: Research and Power Point Presentation


Your second preliminary task is to research information provided by the Project Manager. You will collect specific information about the Paleolithic Period and present it to your team members in a Power Point presentation.


Use the attached outline and guide (prepared by the Project Manager) to help with your research and your presentation.

Add graphics, including pictures, maps or photographs to your presentation to help your team members understand the material.

Once your PowerPoint presentation is complete you will be instructed by the Project Manager to use it and teach the other assistant specialists, on your team, about this time in history known as the Paleolithic Age.

You will also be required to print out a PowerPoint “slide handout” and add it to your team’s Log Book.

At the end of the expedition the Project Manager will assess your PowerPoint based on the attached rubric. You may want to review the rubric before you begin your PowerPoint.
