STUDENT PROCESS: Activities for the Assistant to the Botantist

Congratulations! You have been assigned to work with Dr. Michael Flowers, a world renowned botantist.

As the assistant to Dr. Flowers, you will be able to help him if you observe and document different characteristics of plants that were alive during the Ice Age. Believe or not, some of these ancient plants have living relatives today.

You can visit a website to learn some important details about each plant shown on the following pages. For each plant you should fill out a field notes sheet than you can view and download. At the end you will be asked to fill out a short fact sheet. You can view and download the fact sheet too.
